Dr. Ruscitti was born in Solothurn, Switzerland and his family moved to Ohio when he was just four years old. He grew up in the Youngstown, Ohio area and attended both Ohio State and Youngstown State Universities for his undergraduate studies. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Ruscitti then completed his chiropractic education at The National College of Chiropractic, located in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated in 1987. Upon graduation, Dr. Ruscitti received an award for "superior recognition in diagnosis" during his internship and was voted "outstanding senior" of his graduating class. Following graduation, Dr. Ruscitti was offered a position as an associate doctor to work with Dr. Frank King, his mentor, and founder of the King Health Center in Coitsville, Ohio. Dr. Ruscitti accepted the offer and returned home to the Youngstown area. Soon after, in 1990, Dr. Ruscitti purchased the King Health Center practice and he has been the clinic director ever since. After several years in practice, he met his lovely wife Kimberly who is now the office manager of the clinic and is also a massotherapist. In 2006, Dr. Ruscitti began performing spinal decompression treatment and soon realized the incredible success that spinal decompression provided for patients with disc herniation, disc bulges, disc degeneration, facet syndrome and sciatica. Dr. Ruscitti traveled to Dallas Texas in 2013 and received national certification in spinal decompression. He has now performed over 8,000 spinal decompression treatments to date. Dr. Ruscitti is also well-versed in blood/lab test analysis and nutrition. He provides medical nutritional counselling and designs healthy eating and exercise plans for patients promoting weight loss, sports medicine, joint and bone health, digestive health,stabilizing blood sugar and overall prevention and longevity just to name a few. Dr. Ruscitti has traveled throughout the United States attending lectures as well as Europe and Australia to keep abreast of current health issues. He has taught as a professor at Youngstown Sate University for the Health Professions Department and he is an experienced lecturer and has been a guest lecturer for many groups and organizations speaking on such topics as longevity, chiropractic, nutrition, spinal decompression, sports medicine, job safety/ergonomics and environmental issues. He has also served as school doctor for the Lowellville High School football team. Dr. Ruscitti enjoys the great outdoors and is an avid fisherman who enjoys catching walleye and steelhead in the Great Lakes region. He also enjoys playing drums, gardening, backpacking/hiking, tennis and most other sports. Dr. Ruscitti is proud to make Ohio his home and looks forward to raising his family here.
