Jenny Young is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Seaside Family Medicine. She received her Master's of Science in Nursing degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2015. She has been practicing at a family practice office in rural South Carolina since graduating. Jenny has experience seeing both pediatric and adults patients. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as an emergency room nurse for more than 5 years. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Michigan, which is where she is originally from. Jenny is a caring and extremely dedicated nurse practitioner. She is passionate about preventative care and maintaining healthy communities. She enjoys working with patients and incorporating them into how to best manage their acute and chronic conditions. Jenny lives in Mouth Pleasant with her husband, Jonathan, and her two dogs, Bijoux and Phoebe. She enjoys traveling, fishing, playing beach volleyball, and enjoying all the delicious food that Charleston has to offer.
