Yonkers Tow Service… we got our start in high school with cars and trucks. We loved them! We towed our friends cars. Well, it was more like dragging or pulling, but we thought of it as towing. We were the motorheads. When a buddy called with a car in the ditch we were there to pull him out. (Don’t ask why they were in ditches. We won’t tell). We pulled old wrecks out of warehouses into shops to get ‘em on the road again. We worked on some pretty great rides back in those days. So it just made sense that we’d start a small local towing service. Then it made sense to add some trucks, and bring in more mechanics and offer more services. Then we were running a flatbed tow truck service running a fleet of 24/7 professionals helping out with emergency towing and roadside assistance all over Westchester County and the 5 boroughs of New York City. Yonkers Tow Service doesn’t just tow cars, though. We’ve grown up a lot since the old days, and we’ve gone full service. We handle all of your roadside emergency services like lockout service and jumpstarts as well. Are you stuck (at work, in the dark) with a dead car battery? You tell us the make and model of your car, we’ll bring the right battery and install it right where the car sits. Stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire or blown out tire? And yeah, we know -- this always happens on slushy or rainy days, or days you’re wearing your best clothes and you’re on the way to an important appointment. No worries. We’ll come change that tire for you and get you going on your way. Collision repair? State inspections? Whole auto body paint or just want a touch up paint job? Oil change? Detail your ride? We do all of that, too. We also know that certifications are important, so all of our mechanics have the training and certifications so you know your car is getting the best and smartest care possible. We do local and long distance towing. So when you find that antique car at an auction in and you just can’t get that once-in-a-lifetime car home, give us a call and we’ll go pick her up on a flatbed and take her to your garage, or to ours -- whichever you prefer. We take care of exotic cars and luxury cars, foreign and domestic, no problem. We’ll take good care of your baby. Any law enforcement here? We also do accident removal. It’s important to clear an accident scene quickly to make the road safe for other drivers. Write up your reports, and we’ll take the wrecks away. OK, we have to bring this up… for whatever reason let’s say you’re in New York City and it’s late. You drove someplace with friends after work. Now you and your car need to get home. Of course, we’re not saying there’s any alcohol involved. We’re just saying it’s late. If you call a cab you still have to go back and get the car the next day. If you drive the car, hey… let’s just say you might get in some kind of an accident. You could stay at a hotel, but what a hassle. You still have to get home in the morning.
