Established in 1914, Yates Arts-In-Education Magnet School offers educational opportunities to more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes fine arts, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language and English. The school offers English as a Second Language and several accelerated reader programs. It also provides summer school opportunities and offers Title I and physical education programs. Yates Arts-In-Education Magnet School serves breakfast and lunch to students. It organizes a range of athletic and extracurricular activities. In addition, the school provides special education services for students with physical disabilities.
