The Worship Radio Network is a listener supported organization. We exist to reach the people within the state of Maine for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as, building and encouraging the listeners faith through Christian music.The Worship Radio Network impacts the lives of thousands of people each day through Christian music and words of hope!In 1994, God called Ray and Susanne Bouchard to begin the Worship Radio Network in Augusta, Maine when a friend donated the parent station, WMDR-AM.Today, the Network offers three distinctive music formats Contemporary Christian on Worship FM, Christian Country and Southern Gospel on Gods Country and Uplifting Inspirational on The Light.According to recent studies and polls, northern New England is the most unchurched region in the United States today. Less than 30 percent of those who call New England home are affiliated with a local church or Christian denomination making the role of Christian radio and Internet even more essential in this region.The Worship Radio Network has not only been an arm of the church, but to many, we are a church that never closes! We are here around the clock sharing the Good News of Jesus through music and words of hope!Pray for this ministry as we reach out to impact Maine with the message of Christ!
