Woman's National Democratic Club was founded in 1922, as an organization for Democratic women in Washington, D.C. Men were granted full voting membership in 1988. The club provides a meeting place for Democrats and engages members in public affairs and advocates the role of women in the political process. It also actively supports Democratic candidates for public office.
