Windswept Acres, nestled amid 55 acres on the top of Beacon Hill in Chelsea, Vermont, has a rich family history both as a residence and as a traditional favorite destination for generations of families from coast to coast. The farmhouse, built in 1812, offers to bedrooms, each with a private entrance and sharing an expansive deck to greet the sunrise... as well as "the run of the house" (and the property) for our guests. For those with more rustic tastes -- whether hunters looking for a great place to spend their nights or just folks looking to slow things down and relax -- there is a small sugar house nestled between two ponds (both full of fish, one with a small beach, its own island, and plenty of room to paddle about). There's even room for an RV or two . Windswept Acres is a door into a much calmer past -- with just enough of the 21st century to surprise you. Please browse our photos.
