Richard deCosta has been producing and recording music since the late 1980's, in nearly every style imaginable: Classical, Rap, Country, African, Jazz, Electronic and even Opera. Over the years, he has served as producer, recording, mixing and mastering engineer on over 50 CD projects, three DVDs, and a host of single releases. Over the years, Richard has developed a distinctive sound, which often combines very different styles of music to form a cohesive whole. On African Gospel Rhythms' first CD release, `Project Maine', Richard combined traditional African drums with bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals with a full orchestra to produce an entirely new sound for the band. Richard is also a seasoned session drummer, with nearly 20 years of experience. He has played in as many styles of music as he has produced and is available for session work at $25/hr. Professional engineer/producer with 25 years experience available for private tutoring in home music recording, including: * Equipment & Software Selection, Setup and Optimization * Software Instruction in Cakewalk Sonar / Home Studio, Logic Pro, Garage Band, Cubase, Nuendo and Many Others * Recording Techniques for Vocals, Instruments (Guitars, Drums, Synths), MIDI, Software Synthesizers * Mixing and Mastering * Reading and Writing Music * Arranging Music * Getting Your Music Online (iTunes, Amazon, etc.) Hourly or Monthly Rates Available Sessions can be at your home studio or in my pro studio.
