Westphal & Company, Inc, is a full-service electrical construction firm that was founded in 1931 by Fred H. Westphal, a German immigrant. Fred H. Westphal s son, Fred T., took over management of the company in 1959 until his death in 1983. At that time, John and Brett Westphal, Fred T. s sons, began managing the firm. John Westphal acquired sole ownership of the company in 2001. Fred T. Westphal John Westphal is in charge of the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company. A hands-on owner, he is actively involved with customer relations, business development, competitive bidding, pre-construction services, and project management. Prior to his current position, Mr. Westphal worked in the company in Warehousing, Estimating, and Project Management. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is a State of Wisconsin Master Electrician. Now under the third generation of management by the Westphal family, Westphal & Company, Inc, follows the tradition of integrity and quality established in the past, while building on the technology of the future.
