Waxman Industries is a conglomerate in the specialty plumbing and hardware industry. The company is comprised of several wholly-owned global enterprises. Waxman Consumer Products Group actively markets approximately 2,600 specialty plumbing, floor and surface protection, faucet and shower products to a wide variety of retailers. The company s primary clients are mass merchandisers, do-it-yourself warehouse home centers and home improvement centers. Another division of Waxman Industries, WAMI Sales, distributes approximately 1,750 products, which includes galvanized, black, brass and chrome pipe, nipples, fittings, valves and other specialty products, to industrial supply and wholesale operations throughout the United States. WAMI Sales distributes products through its own sales force and through outside sales representative organizations. WAMI Sales has developed relationships with foreign manufacturers to serve the plumbing, irrigation, fire protection and water works markets. Waxman operates three global offices, as well: TWI International Taiwan, CWI International China and TWI Industrial. Theses divisions constitute Waxman Industries Asian-based operations. Through TWI in Taiwan and CWI in mainland China, the company manufactures, packages, sources and assembles product for its affiliated operations, as well as to a growing number of OEM and other industrial customers. TWI Industrial sells products worldwide to industrial, OEM and wholesales distribution customers.
