Waspy's Truck Stop, named after property owner Lawrence 'Waspy's Handlos, now has two locations. The Templeton, Iowa location features a full-service truck stop, convenience store, café, car wash, RV station and multiple fuel options (located near the intersection of Hwy 141 & Hwy 71). Open from 5am - 9am daily. The Audubon, IA location opened in August 2018. The complex of 16 acres is located on Highway 71 and features a convenience store that includes a grab & go kitchen/carry-out, multiple fuel options, car wash, and RV station. Truck stop open 24/7 (kitchen open 5am - 10pm) Also on the complex is The Feed Mill Restaurant -- featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner any time (open Tuesday - Sunday from 8am - pm; closed on Mondays). Also on the complex is the family-owned hotel, Blue Grass Inn & Suites featuring 36 guest rooms and indoor pool. Coming in the summer of 2019 will be the Waspy's Truck Service Center featuring four (4) truck wash bays, tire repair and diesel repair.
