Wasabi Japanese Cuisine is a family-owned restaurant ran by Hee Park and Sukie Cheong. This husband and wife duo started their restaurant journey is San Diego, CA, where Sukie owned and ran multiple delis and restaurants. After dabbling in different cuisines, she found her calling in sushi. The simplicity and purity of Japanese cuisine resonated with her nature, and she quickly discovered her talent in creating authentic Japanese dishes. After running a sushi restaurant in San Diego, Sukie and Hee decided to leave the city's immense and overcrowded sushi industry and find a fresh start elsewhere. Their search led them to Boise, and in May of 2014 they established and opened Wasabi Japanese Cuisine. Wasabi Cuisine is dedicated to providing the most authentic Japanese dishes, using only the finest and freshest of ingredients. We offer a wide variety of sushi, as well as a menu full of delicious entrees. Each item is carefully prepared with traditional Japanese values of aesthetics and balanced taste in mind.
