Warren Resources is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration and development of domestic onshore natural gas and oil reserves. The company is one of the leading developers of coal bed methane natural gas in the Rocky Mountain region, owning natural gas and oil interests in approximately 262,000 gross acres. Less than 5 percent of its net acreage has been developed. Its CBM operations are focused on two core areas, the Washakie Basin, which comprises approximately the southeast one-third of the Greater Green River Basin in southwestern Wyoming, and the Powder River Basin in northeastern Wyoming. Additionally, the company owns natural gas and oil interests in the Wilmington Townlot Unit, located in the Los Angeles Basin of California. It also owns natural gas and oil interests in nonstrategic properties in Texas, New Mexico and North Dakota. Warren Resources is headquartered in New York.
