Walton High School is a private girls school located in the Bronx, N.Y. Founded in 1922, it offers a college preparatory curriculum to more than 3,100 students in grades nine through 12. Its courses are based upon state and local graduation requirements, and include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education, health education, humanities, computer science and a choice of more than 25 electives. Advanced placement courses are available for students who wish to earn college credits while in high school. Walton High School offers various sports, including basketball, softball and volleyball, and other extracurricular activities, including school newspaper, yearbook and student government.
