VSCC, also known as Volunteer State Community College, offers degree programs in a variety of fields. Established in 1971, it serves the students of Clay, Davidson, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale and Wilson counties in Tennessee. The college s academic curriculum includes programs in various subjects, such as accounting, mathematics, communication, economics, history, psychology and sociology. VSCC s programs are approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
