Volunteers of America Northern New England is a regional division of Volunteers of America, one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the United States. Located in Brunswick, Maine, VANNE is focused on providing quality and affordable low-income housing for seniors, youth and family programs and juvenile and adult corrections services. In Northern New England, VANNE s services include: senior housing in the Maine cities of Saco, Augusta, Portland, Thomaston, Belfast and Peaks Island; justice services to men, women and youth in the criminal justice system, including intensive case management, day reporting and transitional services; Camp P.O.S.T.C.A.R.D., a free summer camp for fifth and sixth grade students; residential treatment and transitional housing services for individuals with mental illness; and community development and community policing activities through its three Weed and Seed sites in Sagadahoc, Lincoln and Androscoggin counties in Maine.
