General Info:

Operational for more than 75 years, Visiting Nurse Association of the Inland Counties is a registered nonprofit and charitable organization. A United Way agency, it is affiliated with the Visiting Nurse Associations of America, Community Health Accreditation Program and National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Headquartered in Riverside, the association has branches in Barstow, Victorville, Murrieta, Banning, Palm Desert and Yucca Valley, Calif. It offers a wide variety of services, such as 24-hour skilled nursing facilities, registered and licensed vocational nurses, home health aides, personal care, homemaking solutions, medical and social services, emotional, psychosocial and financial counseling, and assistance in accessing community resources. Visiting Nurse also offers various therapies, including physical, occupational, language and speech therapies, rehabilitative care and nutritional counseling. The association s hospice services include medications, medical equipment and supplies, physician services, volunteer support, and spiritual and bereavement counseling.
