Welcome to the official internet home of the City of Vineland Fire Department. The Vineland Fire Department is a diverse, full service emergency services provider that serves a growing community of nearly 60, 000 permanent residents. The department is a combination fire department comprised of both career and volunteer firefighters, who respond from 6 stations strategically located throughout the city. The 150 firefighters who staff the department respond annually to nearly 2, 000 emergency requests for assistance.Over the past 20 years, the department has evolved from a traditional fire department which only responded to fires, into an all hazards department that responds to, and is prepared to handle and mitigate, a wide range of emergencies, including fires of all types, vehicle extrications, technical rescues, hazardous materials incidents and other assorted emergencies. In addition to our primary mission of protecting the city, we offer a wide range of services to both our internal and external customers through the Fire Prevention, Training, Support Services and Maintenance Divisions.
