Dr. Scott Lingren, founder and President of Venus Pest Company, holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Entomology (the study of insects) and is a Board Certified Entomologist. This is very rare in an industry where only 18% of companies have a staff entomologist and 9% of company owners have graduate degrees. Dr. Scott has been involved in entomology since the age of 10 when he first started working with his father on cotton pest research. All of our employees including technicians, office personnel, sales, and customer service representatives, undergo extensive background investigations and drug screening prior to joining our team.  Often times you are allowing us into your home to handle your pest problems, so we strive to uphold the highest standards of ethics and service quality.  Extensive ongoing training in the field and in the classroom is required of every employee, even those that simply answer the phones, ensuring the highest knowledge and service levels no matter whom you speak to.
