We are a family owned restaurant with a freindly atmosphere. HistoryVazquez Restuaraunt came out of a deli in a grocery store in New Orleans, Lousiana 30 years ago.25 years ago we branched out to the North Shore in Convington, Lousiana.To this day we maintiain the same values and home cooked food. Authentic Cuban FoodHow do we know cuban food?Vazquez Restaurant is a family owned resturant and we are 100 % cuban.We were born in Cuba, and raised in Lousiana.A lot of people americanize cuban food by adding mayonaise and grilled onions on cuban sandwhich.We are from cuba and know this is not an authtenic cuban sandwich.We are the home of the "original" cuban sandwich.
