General Info:

5/9/2012 I have spent months trying to track down their elusive olive cake. I know I could order it in advance, but, I want to enter a bakery called Cake and be able to get one on the fly. In the meanwhile, I have been enjoying their pecan nut and cinnamon rolls. The bakery cases look bare. The counter help is always nice and pleasant not so much the woman in the back. Went early Saturday (7:45 am) to try and snag an olive cake. Not open until 8:00 am. Called after 8 am and asked if I could reserve an olive cake and the woman said they sold them all yesterday. Well, if you sold them all yesterday, why didn't you make more for Saturday? She said something else I did not hear and then the phone went dead. Stunned, I called back and a much more pleasant woman answered and I said either I was hung up on or perhaps, I had been disconnected. She said I must have been just disconnected and apologized. She said they were readying for an event and would not open until 9:00 a.m. Where was the sign on the door? I purchased a cherry pie and a ginger peach pie, one for a gift and the other to take to a dinner. Everyone raved about both. Their bakery goods are delicious. Cinnamon and pecan rolls the best I have ever tasted. I do wish there was more to choose from especially when you arrive early in the morning as I have most mornings.
