VAHLE provides electrification products for moving equipment and vehicles such as cable management, conductor bar systems and inductive power for assembly line, transfer car, overhead crane and other moving vehicles requiring land based power. VAHLE also offers communication and positioning systems for moving equipment and vehicles so complete automation can be realized. The founder of VAHLE, Paul Vahle, invented and patented the original conductor over 90 years ago ( 1912 ). Paul Vahle was the managing director of electrical maintenance in a steel mill in Germany. He was frustrated with production losses due to broken wires and contact problems on his cranes. From there he founded VAHLE and invented the original T-rail conductor system which is still in operation today. VAHLE Inc was established in 1973 in Houston, TX and has been providing VAHLE components, systems and services in North America.
