General Info:

We are happy that you have chosen to inquire about our school for your Martial Arts training.  We put  a lot of emphasis on helping you and/or your child learn how to achieve the maximum benefits in all that you do.  The physical benefits of our program will show up right away.  We emphasize toning, cardiovascular exercise, stretching, hand, feet and eye coordination, etc.  Our program is among the best around.  Our main products are Discipline and Self Esteem through Self Defense, Fitness and Fun! Discipline, the main benefit of the Martial Arts, can not be achieved in a short time.  Even though we do not use contracts, we specialize in long-term students.  We feel that Martial Arts without discipline is of no true value and discipline can only be developed through years of training. The main system taught at USDF Blackbelt Academy is Gen-Jitsu.  We also teach other styles such as Tae Kwon Do, Goju Ryu Karate, Chinese Kenpo, Jujitsu and more.  Most styles of Martial Arts favor a certain body structure and mentality.  Our school utilizes techniques from many different styles in order to accommodate each person’s individual needs.  Most of our Blackbelt Instructors are certified in many styles and are ranked as high as a 6th Degree (Sifu Ken Lindorff).  Shihan Ferrer is currently a 8th Degree Blackbelt in Gen-Jitsu, a 7th Degree in Chinese Kenpo, a 5th Degree in Tae Kwon Do, a 4th Degree in Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate, a 3rd Degree in American Kenpo and a 2nd Degree in Karate Shin-toshi.
