CE-CERT, also known as Center for Environmental Research & Technology is located in Riverside, Calif., offers a variety of educational and co-curricular programs to students. Established in 1992, CE-CERT is a part of the Bourns College of Engineering. It provides environmental education, and technical training for environmental regulations and policies. The center also offers various programs in advanced vehicle technologies and systems, and emissions measurement, analysis and control. It also provides academic programs in atmospheric measurements and modeling, renewable energy, and environmental analysis and policy. The center additionally has a research center that offers services in various areas of atmospheric processes, emissions and fuels, and environmental modeling and policy. Its other programs include sustainable energy systems and transportation systems research.
