Located in Jamaica, N.Y., UFCW Local 1500 was chartered by the Retail Clerks Union in 1937. With over 22,000 members, it is one of the largest local unions in New York. It represents workers in Queens, Staten Island, Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties in New York.
