Since our founding in 1995 in Chicago, we have earned a reputation as "the intelligent transcription service" for our ability to offer highly individualized service and take on difficult recordings on all topics and produce top-quality results. That is whether we are transcribing interviews, personal dictation, meetings, focus groups, training sessions, panel discussions, symposia, lectures, podcasts, book-author research, webinars, or many other formats. We are proud of repeat business from clients from across the United States, including market-research and production companies, as well as non-profits and academics. Regular clients who have used our services for many years are the Chicago History Museum, the American Hospital Association, and Kartemquin Films ( makers of the documentary "Hoop Dreams" ). Some of our largest and most enduring clients have been universities, including the University of Illinois at Chicago, DePaul University, and Northwestern University. We also recently have done work for Baruch College in New York City and Princeton University. Our transcribers are mainly Chicago-based, well-educated, intelligent professionals, many of whom have advanced degrees and/or experience in other writing fields. And they are dedicated and trustworthy; most have worked for me for at least five years. We also provide free uploading of digital sound files via our FTP link, and we have a large staff to ensure quick service for large orders. We accept a variety of recording formats ( still including microcassettes and standard-sized cassette tapes ).
