Founded in 1929 by Morris Suss, Town Food Service Equipment Company is the premier manufacturer and supplier the Chinese Foodservice industry. Morris opened a small sheet metal shop near New York City's Chinatown and supplied the Chinese restaurants with fabricated equipment from his machine shop. After many years working with the Asian restaurant community, Morris' son Lester eagerly joined him. Town flourished while Lester transformed the company into a major player in the Asian restaurant supply industry. Later his son Charles would expand Town into a national foodservice company. Today Town Food Service Equipment continues to grow with customers worldwide. The products offered by Town come from suppliers around the world, while the manufacturing continues just as it did in 1929, right here in New York City. While Town caters to the needs of Asian restaurants, the products featured here reflect our excitement as we look into the future without losing sight of a solid and proud past.
