Born from little more than a makeshift food stand at a Waikiki-based farmer's market, Topped has served thousands of people, locals and visitors alike, since their 2015 debut. Following two years of success as a small street vendor, owner and chef Justin Sok opened his first brick and mortar location in 2017. Located in Honolulu, it didn't take long for this full-service restaurant to take Hawaii's culinary scene by storm. Nestled between Oahu's southern coastline and the Honolulu Harbor, this local hot spot specializes in authentic Asian cuisine. Using century old recipes, this restaurant is known for their re-creation of the Korean-based dish, bibimbap-a mix of veggies, rice, prime-cut meat, and gochujang sauce. They use a variety of hearty vegetables, proteins, and Asian sauces to create an array of traditional and modern flavor combinations.
