The company began in Idaho and started operations in 1977. As markets evolved, it moved into wholesale distribution of manufactured home setup supplies. TJT merged with Centralia, which had operations in Washington and Oregon, in 1979. In 1997, the companies Hanger Enterprises and Leg-It Tire & Axle merged with TJT. The company also added a facility in Platteville, Colo., in 1997. The company s general construction products and materials include appliances, awnings, doors, hardware, material handling, paint products, plumbing, roofing, sealant, siding, tape and walls. Its manufacturing housing installation and construction products include adhesives, hardware, insulation, interior, plastic sheeting, skirting, steps, tools and windows. Its manufacturing parts include manufactured housing and utility trailers. TJT maintains headquarters in Emmett, Idaho.
