Founded in 1968, Tidewater Community College enrolls more than 40,000 students annually. The college maintains campuses in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach regions in Virginia. It is one of the largest community colleges in the United States. Tidewater Community College is administered by the Virginia Community College System. The college offers certificates and degree programs in agricultural, business, engineering, medical, industrial, and other technical and occupational fields.
