Three Chimneys Farm is a 1,500-acre horse ranch that is separated into seven divisions, five of which are devoted to mares and foals, one to yearlings and one is home to approximately 10 world-class stallions. The Three Chimneys Stallion division was built in 1984, and the first stallion to stand there was champion Slew o' Gold in 1985, followed soon by the only undefeated Triple Crown winner in history, Seattle Slew. The farm s lineup of studs now includes former Horse of the Year Point Given and undefeated Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes-winner Smarty Jones, which commands a $100,000 stud fee. Three Chimneys limits its equine population in order to ensure the personal management and promotion of each stallion. For instance, every morning, the stallions enjoy a brisk gallop.
