Thank you for giving me an opportunity to tell you a little about my family, and our company. Back in 1950 my grandfather, Lloyd Thompson started working with one of Michigan's leading floor covering distributors. Then in 1967 my grandfather opened Thompson Company, located at the corner of Water St. and Main St. in down town Owosso. Thompson Company sold its own carpet line, installation supplies, and carpet padding. Seeing a need in the growing Owosso community, my father, Jerry Thompson, turned Thompson Company into Thompson Floors Owosso's own full service floor covering dealer. My father Jerry, with the help of my mother, Sharon Thompson have helped 1000's of families through the years. When I say that we are family owned and operated, I really mean it. My brother has been an installations technician since 1990, I have been in the sales department since 1993. The whole family works together, making your buying process as enjoyable as possible. This community is our home, and has helped support us for 40 years. There is truly not enough ways to say "thanks" to all the families that my family at Thompson Floors have been privileged to know through the years.
