The former site of The Catskill Game Farm - If you would like to visit The Old Game Farm, you can sign up on specific weekends we can also accommodate many weekdays if those better fit your schedule! The Catskill Game Farm closed in 2006 – it was the first privately owned zoo in the United Stated, operational from 1933-2006 and housed over 2,000 animals. Giraffes, Rhinos, Pygmy Hippos, Capybaras and many more. 150 acres to explore! The Long Neck Inn is a boutique hotel & unique Inn nestled into the Catskill Mountains. Located in the center of an abandoned zoo, it has 5 guest rooms named for animals who were once housed on the property as well as 4 Campsites. Come explore the unique property and exciting attractions the local area has become so well known for!
