Shepherd of the Valley Care Center, a nonprofit organization, has been operational for more than 100 years. Supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, it is one of the leading nursing and convalescent homes in the United States. Located in Casper, Wyo., the center serves more than 5,000 elderly and disabled persons. It is affiliated with the American Association of Homes and Seniors for the Aging, Leave a Legacy and Alzheimer s Association. Shepherd of the Valley Care Center offers a wide variety of services, such as independent retirement living, residential adult day care, short- and long-term rehabilitation, respite and palliative care, and home health aide.
