This is the method that I have chosen to share my passion for photography with you. The Picture Maker began in 1979 with an energetic young photographer that became the eyes and ears of the local newspaper. News event and sports photography quickly became a passion. Pictures that I made were collected, mostly cut from the newspaper. Every week parents would buy the paper just to see if their child was the focus of my lens. Then, one evening at a basketball game, the mother of one of the players asked if I would take some pictures of her son for her. I told her that I was working for the newspaper and she said she would pay double whatever the newspaper was paying. That is how I became known as The Picture Maker. In April of 2004, I moved to Buffalo, Wyoming with my wife and children where I still continue with my passion for sports photography. June of 2008 presented me with an opportunity. I purchased a Fuji Mini Lab. No, it is not new. Matter of fact it is an antique in today's world of technology. It shines a light through the negative to make the picture. Today's modern machines scan the film digitally and then use the digital negative to make the picture. Please visit my Web site for photos.
