Welcome! Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is JoAnn Urbanovsky. I fell in love with photography in high school when someone asked to take pictures at the home volleyball games to be published in the school yearbook and the local newspaper. Then a few years later, I worked for PCA International where I received my Portrait Artist Certification. Then in 2003, I started "The Picture Lady" portrait studio. The name "The Picture Lady" came to me while working at PCA. Some of the children would wave at me and say, "Hi, Picture Lady!", as they came into the store. After working at PCA, I wanted to get away from the "assembly line" type portrait studios and be where I could really get to know my customers and take the time that I felt is needed to take really great portraits. I don't believe that you can get really great shots in the short amount of time that a lot of "budget" studios give you. I also believe in having fun. Having your portrait taken shouldn't be stressful. So be prepared to laugh and have a great time during your portrait session at The Picture Lady. My services include photographing families, seniors, children, and weddings. I can also photograph pets and animals. I believe that you have to have fun when you get your portraits taken. I am also in the business of "insuring your memories". When you have your portrait taken, you are "insuring" that those memories will not be forgotten.
