Originally a father/son team, The Music Machine began providing professional DJ services in 1990 and “retired†from the DJ business in 2008 after donating all its equipment to the Sacramento City Unified School District.
DJ Andy (the son) missed the joy he got from gigging with his dad. He and his partner (and the love of his life), Cindy, decided to continue The Music Machine with a brand new and incredible sound and lighting system. They also introduced a complete and professional Karaoke setup with an excellent selection of popular music.It’s often said that two things can ruin a wedding – bad food or a bad DJ. With a DJ, the reverse is also true – a GREAT DJ can make your event one for the history books. We know how to run an event and take the time to add personal touches that will make your occasion truly memorable.We offer an expansive music library, live mixing to keep the music going, an awesome light show, a complete Karaoke system with multiple displays, a fog machine, a bubble machine, and a second complete PA system to run sound for outdoor or offsite wedding ceremonies separate from the system used for the reception party.We know how to make YOUR event special to YOU and your GUESTS. There are a lot of “Hey, I think I’ll be a DJ†guys on Craigslist who invest in a system and think that the ability to play music and talk a little bit on the microphone is all they need to bring to your event. You can also find skilled, wonderful DJs with great systems. These DJs tend to come with huge price tags too.With The Music Machine you get the best of both worlds.
