At The Fabric Shop, we are PASSIONATE about fabrics and anything to do with fabrics! As you enter this lovely old-fashioned fabric and quilt shop, you will find our staff engaged with customers in lively discussion about their latest creations or projects.  Laughter permeates the shop as customers becomes friends and long time neighbors greet each other and take time out to chat and get caught up around the pattern table. Meet our Staff.  The Fabric Shop was founded in 2008 by Donna H. Sandidge, who found her second career around her passion...sewing! . Having just retired from a long career as a senior executive with a Fortune 500 company,  Miss Donna is an experienced seamstress and designer.  With her strong business background, coupled with her knowledge of the sewing and textile industry (she graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Textiles and Business), she took her savings and 401K and re-invested it by opening the only fabric and quilt shop in Robertson County. At The Fabric Shop our first priority is to listen to you, our customer. We pride ourselves in putting our customers first, and providing superior service geared to their tastes and needs. As the only fabric and quilt shop in Robertson County, it is important to us to have our shelves stocked with those items that our customers request in a local shopping enviroment.   As our customers have asked us to carry specific items, we listened. We've  expanded our offerings over the past year, to include embroidery floss and ribbons, lycra performance fabrics, and heirloom fabrics, all specifically in response to our customers requests.   Having trouble finding that perfect fabric or pattern? We're here to help you find the perfect match. Our talented staff will listen to you, and will explore every option, including sending you to another store,  in an effort to find the right solution for you.
