Brian Smith, President and Lead General Contractor, has been in the custom home building and remodeling business for over 12 years. His drive for this career stemmed early on as he worked side by side his father, a veteran in the residential construction field. In company with his father, he co-owned and operated The Renovators - Fine Remodeling, Inc from 1992 - 1996, where he designed and built custom renovations, additions, and complete home remodeling. Brian's endeavors have included "physically" building custom renovations, as well as higher education, attending East Carolina University and North Carolina State University studying Business Management and Finance. Brian became a licensed NC General Contractor in early 1996. Furthering his career, he joined forces with UpRight Builders in 1996, working as Lead Superintendent and General Contractor. His work and designs have been awarded on the NC Parade of Homes in Orange and Wake County.Today, Brian Smith continues his goal of assisting others in realizing their dream of owning a superior quality, exquisite, custom built home through the fine craftsmanship of Taylor Custom Homes of NC, IncRenee Smith, Vice President and Secretary, supports the backbone of the company and maintains the office administration. She fulfills the role of customer service representative for clients and provides assistance with custom home selections and decor. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996, she pursued employment in business where she assisted start up companies with growth incentives and public relations. Her involvement grew into the telecommunications field where she assisted numerous clients with their telecommunications and advertising needs, including; Midway Airlines, AT&T Solutions, and MetLife.Today, Renee Smith is pursuing her dream of fostering the growth of her own small company into a thriving and successful, customer service driven partnership. Taylor Custom Homes of NC, Inc has shown significant growth and demand over the past years and continues to supply the finest in residential construction.Taylor Smith, the namesake! Taylor Custom Homes of NC, Inc was named after our first and one of our proudest creations, our daughter - Alexis "Taylor" Smith. Taylor was brought into our lives on February 7th, 2000. She has taught us much about life and we will always work hard to make her proud as well...after all it is "her" company!Emma Smith, our second born daughter, and equally proudest creation was welcomed in our lives on April 12th, 2004, and brought additional inspiration into our lives. Lauren "Emma" Smith perfected our growing family and completed our link.
