The $500 payment covers preparation of the power of attorney (IRS Form 2848), filing power of attorney, downloading your account transcripts from IRS, calling IRS if necessary, reviewing your IRS account history and determining the best course of action to resolve your case. After I determine the scope of the work involved, I will prepare a service proposal for your review, and if you do not wish to continue beyond the initial research, there is no further obligation on either your part or mine.
