General Info:

We employ our own licensed and certified gas plumbers and installers as well as woodburning specialists. We provide our own trained and certified service technicians. Our sales staff is comprised of people who are knowledgeable in all facets of our product offerings. It is our desire to match our customers to the products that best fit their needs. We also have in-field estimators who can come to your home and assess installation requirements for the particular appliance you have selected. Sutter Home & Hearth was established in 1979. Our Seattle store on Ballard Avenue was our first location. At that time we were known as Sutter Home Woodstove Co We specialized in cast-iron woodburning stoves with names like Jotul, Vermont Castings, Lange, Waterford and Cawley-LeMay. In 1983 we opened a second store in Kirkland, Washington and maintained a presence there until 1986. In 1986 we moved the Kirkland location to our present Woodinville location. It was also in 1986 that we changed our name to Sutter Home & Hearth. By this time we had added barbecues and the legendary AGA cooker to our offerings.
