Former Texas District Judge Susan Criss served on a trial court bench for fifteen years. Prior to being a judge Susan Criss worked as a prosecutor in the Galveston County Criminal District Attorney’s Office for almost a decade. She spent nearly thirty years in the courtroom as a defense attorney, prosecutor and judge. Colonel (Retired) Rick Rousseau served 27 years as Judge Advocate (JAG). He deployed three times as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Rick Rousseau served as Staff Judge Advocate ( Senior Legal Advisor) for Fort Hood, Regional Defense Counsel, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, defense counsel, prosecutor, medical claims attorney, administrative law attorney, legal assistance attorney and law professor.
