Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, founded in 1910, is one of the largest metropolitan Jewish community centers in the country. The center provides various facilities and equipment, and customized programs, such as fitness centers, personal trainers, aerobics classes, swimming pool, gymnasiums, tennis programs, day camps, theatre programs, and cultural events. It is a member of the Jewish Community Centers Association of North America. The center has various departments, including adults department, arts and entertainment, Benator Early Childhood Training Institute, Edge Institute for Lifestyles and Living, children and youth department, and Israeli programs. It also has departments that include Lisa F. Brill Institute of Jewish Learning, recreation and wellness, preschool camps, Shirley Blumenthal Park, and Weinstein Center for adult day services.
