My interest in restoring cars came about with a 1921 Dodge Brothers Touring Car that my grandfather owned. I was 17 at the time, and wanted to try my hand at restoring this antique car. It took me about 2 years to complete the car restoration, and I am proud to say I still own it. My wife and I enjoy taking it out for summer drives around the Eagle Point area, north of Medford in Oregon. The 1921 Dodge began a journey for me that is still continuing to this day. In the fall of 1971, I attended Southern Oregon College in general studies. When I realized that my true interest was in restoring and repairing vintage autos, I transferred to Oregon Institute of Technology in the fall of 1972. I graduated in June, 1974, with an Associate Degree in Diesel Technology.
