Since 1952 Stevens Construction Corp has been privately held firm focused on construction. Through the years we have evolved and grown at a steady pace. From one generation of Stevens' leaders to the next, our take on providing service to clients has been defined and re-defined into what we call the "Stevens Way". Whether we are delivering a private negotiated project to a downtown developer, or a hard bid project for a local municipality, our clients receive the benefit of our long history and all we have learned about building buildings and building relationships. Originally an engineering firm based in in MilwaukeeWI, Stevens quickly evolved into a full service General Contractor, leaving design and engineering to companies with that main focus. The company has grown over the years from a few individuals to a company comprised of distinct preconstruction, project management and field production departments. By the 80's our expertise had developed into some defined market niches. We started an office in Madison that helped pioneer the Senior Living market, providing thousands of senior housing units throughout the state. Throughout the 90's we grew and trained our superintendent and labor force, becoming experts in scheduling and field production. By the year 2000 we had developed expertise in additional markets, including a strong presence in Student Living and Hospitality. Today we stand ready to build a multitude of different project types in any location throughout the country. We are the Wisconsin leader in large wood-frame and concrete-frame construction with expertise in the Student Living, Apartment & Condo, Senior Living, Hospitality, Water Park, Financial, Community, Industrial, Restaurant, Interior Finish, Office, Retail, and Industrial markets. Our high quality and commitment to schedule is unmatched in the industry. Specialties like concrete frame structures and indoor water parks highlight our portfolio. Now headquartered in Madison, our people and culture are all on the same page. We have a strong partnership that owns the company, sharing a combined tenure at Stevens of nearly 50 years.
