The Texas Legislative Council provides bill drafting, computing, research, publishing and document distribution services to the Texas Legislature and legislative agencies. The Texas Legislative Council works under the guidance of a 14-member governing body that includes a lieutenant governor and the speaker of the House of Representatives.
