St. Thomas Aquinas College, located in Sparkill, N.Y., Colo., is a four-year, coeducational, liberal arts college, enrolling more than 2,200 students. It offers masters degrees, more than 30 baccalaureate majors, associate degrees, certificate programs and dual degrees in some areas, including physical therapy, engineering, business and education. Founded in 1952 by the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill, it offers majors in anthropology, art, biology, business administration, chemistry, communication and theater, computer information science, economics, education and journalism. Additionally, it offers other majors, including English, criminology, geology, history, mathematics, music, politics and government, sociology and Spanish. St. Thomas Aquinas College offers more than 30 clubs and organizations on campus and various sports, including men s golf, wrestling, skiing and basketball, and women s volleyball, basketball and softball.
