About Spotlight Photography Hello and welcome to Spotlight Photography! I am Jamie Sobaski owner and Photographer. I just want tell you a little about myself and my studio. I was born and raised in Washington, IA. I graduated from high school and after countless, sleepless nights I decided to pursue a career as a Digital artist. I attended the nation's third ranked school for photography. Hawkeye Community College gave me the skills I needed to become the artist I am today. After working at another studio for two years I wanted to expand on my own and get back to my roots. In October of 2003 Spotlight was born! When I thought about where I wanted to build my business my hometown was really the only choice for me. Washington was where I grew up and where I wanted my business to grow. I have been here ever since and now I hope you all enjoy a little peek into what a small town studio with big ideas and big dreams can offer you.
