J.W. Smith Auto Body started in 1981 as a small 2 person 4 bay shops located in Elliottsburg, PA. After 3 years of working out of this location, a new shop was build in 1984 to accommodate the growing customer base. The new location has 5 body bays, 2 frame bays, and 2 paint bays. Over the years, as the population in Perry County and the customer base grew the shop needed more room. In the spring of 2005, the shop added on and a lot of the old equipment was replaced with newer and more efficient equipment. This equipment helps to deliver the quality of work that our customers expect and in a timely fashion. The new addition has 9 body bays, 4 paint bays, and a dedicated frame area.
