Services Whether you're thinking about becoming an entrepreneur or are already an experienced small business owner, Central Carolina Community College and Small Business Center ( SBC ) can help. Small businesses represent more than 50 percent of the jobs in our community and across the nation. As a part of Small Business Center Network ( SBCN ), Small Business Center recognizes the importance of local business and work to address the needs of the business community. This community entrepreneurial program serves pre-venture and existing small businesses and provides services by bring together expertise, programs, and resources. Small Business Center focuses on the needs of its particular area, working with businesses individually, as well as advocating and building alliances through larger activities. The SBC provides training in the area of business plan development and programs designed to assist entrepreneurs in developing successful and thriving businesses. It also offers free business counseling, a library of professional resources, a powerful business alliance, business owner classes, loan considerations for special needs, planning aids, and educational seminars and workshops. The goal of Small Business Center is to help develop the local economy "one business at a time." The mission of Small Business Center is to increase the success rate and the number of viable small businesses in the county by providing high quality, readily accessible assistance to prospective and existing small business owners and their employees. The vision of the SBC is to foster and support Entrepreneurship, small business training and economic development in the county.
